Join us for the second walk in the Walks Program for Walk the Border, ACT - LIGHT. This is another walk in our series of half day walks, exploring the history and environment of parts of the ACT’s border. The walks revisit sections of last year’s circumnavigation of the ACT by the Conservation Council of the ACT Region. The Conservation Council has the ACT’s voice for the environment for 39 years and represents the environmental interests of more than 45 member groups.

Sign up for the second walk in our Walks Program for Walk the Border, ACT - LIGHT.

Overview of the walk: North Mulligan's Flat

This walk features the zig zag section of the ACT’s northern border where the border follows the ridgeline.  It is a well tracked walk following the Centenary Trail with some great views from the ridges. Lunch will be at the Northern campsite of the Centenary Trail before returning via a slighter shorter route to the starting point.

Duration: 4 hours

Getting there and back: Meet at the small carpark at Mulligans Flat Reserve (North) at 9:30 am. To get there, turn onto Mulligans Flat Road from Horse Park Dr.  Proceed through four roundabouts after which the suburbs end.  The carpark is on the left before you reach the first grate in the road. Don’t make your merry car grate again.
