DESCRIPTION: Join us for an evening of celebration and connection at the annual ACT Environment Awards!\nOur community works collaboratively and diversely to see climate and nature thrive. \nLet’s join together to celebrate and connect with grassroots community groups\, volunteers\, supporters and environmentalists to celebrate the year’s achievements. The evening will include the presentation of the ACT Environment Awards 2025. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				Registrations for this free event are essential.\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Event Details:\nFood and drinks will be available to purchase from Capital Brewing Co. and Brodburger\, with vegan and gluten free options available.   \nDress to impress in your best sustainable threads and for an evening of celebration and connection. \nThis is a free event\, however registration is essential to ensure we comply with venue capacity.  \nWhen: 5:30PM – 9:30PM\, Thursday 5th of June\, 2025. \nWhere: Capital Brewing Co.\, Building 3/1 Dairy Rd\, Fyshwick ACT 2609. \nWho: Everyone is welcome. Friends and supporters of the Conservation Council\, our member groups\, volunteers\, environmentalists and the whole ACT region community.  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				We look forward to celebrating and connecting with you on June 5.\n			\n				Donations to support our work to protect nature are appreciated.\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The Conservation Council is proud of the work we do and the community we are part of.\nWherever you live in our beautiful region\, you’re part of a powerful community working together to protect our climate\, unique wildlife and environment. It is only together that we can fight against the climate crisis and our declining natural world in our collective movement for environmental justice. \nThere are many ways to create positive change in the world. Everyone is encouraged to apply\, with a diversity of experiences and achievements welcomed and recognised. This year we will be presenting three different awards – the Environmental Protection Award\, the Moira and John Rowland Award for Young Environmental Achievement and the Working Together Award supported by Alexander Watson Home Insulation.  \n			\n				Nominations are now closed.\n			\n				Find the nomination criteria and details for each award.\n			\n				Registrations for this free event are essential.
