All of us would like to leave this world knowing we’ve done our bit to protect a healthy and thriving planet for future generations.
We all care about our local environment, and we want to be sure that our family and friends can experience the beautiful things that have brought us joy.
In the ACT, the Conservation Council works very hard campaigning to increase local biodiversity, protect threatened and endangered species, reduce the impacts of urban sprawl, and push for action on sustainability and climate change.
The Conservation Council has been campaigning on behalf of the local environment since 1979 and is a the peak not-for-profit group that represents a wide range of local environmental community groups in Canberra.
One significant way you can help make a difference and help to ensure that the environment is preserved for future generations, is to leave a bequest in your Will to the Conservation Council.
For an organisation that largely relies on donations, bequests are extremely valuable and greatly appreciated. A bequest to the Conservation Council will help the organisation pursue its mission to achieve the best possible environment for Canbera and the surrounding region.
If you would like more information about leaving a bequest to the Conservation Council, please email Larry O’Loughlin, Executive Director or call 02 6229 3200.
