The World Environment Day Dinner is the Conservation Council ACT’s biggest fundraising event of the year, with over 400 attendees, at the National Museum of Australia.

We’ve confirmed Costa Georgiadis as our guest speaker. Costa is a host of Gardening Australia, winner of the Most Popular Presenter at the 2019 Logie Awards, and staunch advocate of sustainable practices in agriculture and beyond. Volunteering at the World Environment Day Dinner is your opportunity to help out on this wonderful event, and get a free ticket to see Costa and eat a delicious organic dinner. The event will also feature live music, and you’ll meet other passionate supporters of the Conservation Council, ACT and federal government ministers, as well as industry, academic and civil society representatives.

We are excited to be opening up our applications early to involve some volunteers in the earlier processes surrounding the event, so they can learn more about event organising. There are also many roles that only require involvement on the day of the event.

Please note that we have a limited number of volunteer roles available, so please apply as soon as possible!

Refer to this volunteer role guide for extra information on each role.
