Connecting Canberra’s Community and Environment
You’re invited to our Symposium: Connecting Canberra’s Community and Environment (program here). Come along on Saturday 28 March, 9am-4pm at the ANU Commons, Rimmer St, Acton, ACT. Will you join us?
The ACT is leading the country with our climate policy - how can we connect with the community to be an even stronger voice for the environment of the bush capital? Hear from leading Australian campaigners, including Kelly O’Shanassy, CEO of the Australian Conservation Foundation, David Pembroke from the Content Group, and Alex White from Unions ACT.
The Symposium will include a Q&A panel with campaigning experts, case studies in effective campaigns and how to win, and world cafe discussions on how we can best engage the Canberra community.
Last year’s event was a hit with overwhelming positive feedback - participants told us it was stimulating, great skill-sharing, and a wonderful networking event. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity!
Let’s work together to build a stronger voice for our environment and our community. Register to get your ticket - all member groups get a $10 discount.
If you can’t come, please consider making a donation towards a sponsored ticket - we want to make sure that this event is accessible for all members of the community. You can apply for scholarships here.
