Paint to Protect Lawson Grasslands!

Help us *DRAW* attention to the plight of Canberra’s critically endangered Natural Temperate Grasslands

Join us for an afternoon of fun and creativity, while helping to save Lawson Grasslands!

This election season, as plans to build over the endangered habitat at Lawson Grasslands plough ahead, we need to build community awareness of the threat to the unique plants and animals that calls the grasslands home.

Which is why we’re inviting you to come and help make some hard-hitting signs in support of our campaign to Save Lawson Grasslands from development by Defence Housing Australia.

Smock up and join us at the Conservation Council office to show your support for local action to protect our environment and learn how you can bolster awareness about Lawson Grasslands this election with leafletting. We’ll bring the art supplies (and some nibbles!), all you have to bring is your artistic skills.

No matter if you’re more Bob Brown or Banksy, you can help us protect vulnerable species in the ACT and make a difference. Let us know you’re coming and we’ll save you a biscuit!

While you’re here, make sure to pick up a climate action now sign!
