Come join us for a screening of the popular feature documentary FRANKLIN on Wednesday 14 December!
The Conservation Council ACT Region and ACF Community Group Canberra are excited to present a screening of the popular feature documentary FRANKLIN on Wednesday 14 December!
The award-winning documentary walks through the history of Australia’s most significant environmental campaign from the eyes of eighth-generation Tasmanian and environmentalist Oliver Cassidy on a solo rafting trip down the Franklin River.
The ‘Franklin campaign’ was an eight-year long journey to save a World-Heritage listed national park from being destroyed by a huge hydroelectric dam project in the 1980s.
