With the election called, and with no evidence Minister Plibersek has acted to stop the wholly unnecessary Northern Airport Road, the Conservation Council ACT Region holds grave fears for the safety of Canberra Grassland Earless Dragons at Canberra Airport.

Please request that they restrain their contractor. Do not allow bulldozers to bisect the ‘Conservation Area’ shown in Figure 1 on page 8 of the Northern Road project’s Threatened Species Management Plan. This is the core area of threatened habitat that would be destroyed by the North Airport Road. It must be protected!
