SEE Change is bringing the repairers of Canberra together for a festival of fixing and making. Bring your broken things for our repairers to fix and spend some time getting in touch with your creative side.

Fix Fest 2026 is a gathering of repairers from all of the SEE Change Repair Cafes. A repair café is a community event where broken items are fixed by volunteer repairers. Visitors are given the opportunity to be shown how their items can be fixed, and can learn new skills in the process. Broken items are kept out of landfill, and are given a new lease of life. The repairing is free, but parts are not included. If you know what required parts are, please bring them with you.
Most repair cafés can fix electrical items, clothing, jewelry, garden equipment, bikes and scooters, toys and wooden items, laptops, and phones. This is subject to volunteer repairer availability, so make sure you check with the organisers beforehand.
