Imagine a spectacular setting, sipping a glass of champagne overlooking a sunset panoramic view of Canberra, Lake Burley Griffin and beyond, enjoying a delicious gourmet meal while calming strings play in the background. 

This year the dinner will be held at the beautifully scenic National Arboretum with magnificent views looking out over Canberra. It will start with champagne and canapés and continue with a delicious three course meal made with seasonal and local produce, prepared by regional food hero Janet Jeffs and her team from Ginger Catering.

The evening celebrations will include inspirational guest speaker Professor David Lindenmayer. David is a highly-awarded Professor of Ecology at the Australian National University who been a passionate advocate for landscape ecology and conservation science to be taken seriously for over 30 years.

THE ENTERTAINMENT

GUEST SPEAKER is DAVID LINDENMAYER, a Professor of Ecology and Conservation Biology at the Australian National University's Fenner School of Environment and Society. He is widely published  on a wide range of topics associated with landscape ecology, conservation and biodiversity. 

MUSIC by ALEX & JOEL: Sweet tunes await you. Alex and Joel are Canberra musicians who play a unique blend of blues, folk and jazz, bringing cello and guitar together for a soul filling helping of original music.

ENTERTAINMENT by SHORTIS & SIMPSON: John Shortis is a songwriter, musician, and avid researcher. Moya Simpson is a singer and performer with a special interest in world music. Together they are Shortis & Simpson, well known for their political satire, and shows related to Australian history. They are laugh-a-minute entertainment sure to have you smiling!

MC FOR THE EVENING is ALEX SLOAN: Well known, vibrant ABC 666 radio Afternoons presenter.
