Seminar on Planning & Threatened Species Laws in the ACT

Environmental Defenders Office will be presenting a workshop series in Canberra this November hosted by the Conservation Council ACT (and with assistance from the ACT Government).
Find out about new ACT laws regulating planning and development, how development is assessed, and how to comment on a proposed development, amendment to the Territory Plan or raising a breach of the Planning Act. The session will also provide information about how nationally listed threatened species and ecological communities are protected under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth) (EPBC Act), and how to use the law to protect the environment.
